This product is a hypoallergenic synergistic formula containing calcium and magnesium, plus Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc. The absorption and metabolism of calcium and magnesium are mutually dependent, therefore, these two elements should always be administered at the same time. Vitamin D facilitates the absorption of calcium, and participates in regulating its biological deposition, thereby governing the bioavailability and bioactivity of calcium.
Calcium and magnesium are vital components of bone and tooth metabolism. Both participate in energy production, muscle contraction, nerve function, maintenance of the acid-alkali balance of the body fluids, and nucleic acid metabolism.
Vitamin C functions synergistically with the minerals and plays important roles in immunity, synthesizing connective tissues that keep the body structurally intact, and in the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, which are the "glue of life". Zinc plays important immune functions and has anti-viral powers.
