SUPER C Tablets provide 500 mg of Vitamin C as ascorbic acid, plus 250 mg of important citrus bioflavonoids providing no less than 22% Hesperidin as measured by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Along with Vitamin C, bioflavonoids maintain the structural health and fluid permeability of capillaries, the distal end of the body's arterial blood supply.
Vitamin C maintains the structural integrity of the body through its role in synthesis of collagen and chondroitin sulfate, the structural and cementing materials of the body. The synthesis of elastase, which keeps arteries strong, also requires Vitamin C. Vitamin C confers on lymphocytes a heightened ability to resist and overcome disease. It also removes heavy metals from the body, and detoxifies many pesticides, drugs, and many other toxic substances. Vitamin C also helps the body fight off viruses and bacteria.
