Xylocaine is an anesthetic used on the skin to relieve itching and pain associated with various skin disorders such as insect bites, burns, scrapes, plant poisonings, hemorrhoids. Some forms of Xylocaine are used during certain procedures to reduce pain.
Lidocaine may also be used to relieve irritation and inflammation in the mouth and throat. Some forms of Xylocaine are used during certain procedures to reduce pain.
How to Use:
Xylocaine is for topical use only. To use the ointment and creams on the skin, clean and dry the affected area as directed. For best results, apply the ointment or cream to a bandage or gauze before placing it on the skin. Or use gloves or an applicator. Wash hands after use. Use carefully if applying to the face.
Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use more than prescribed, use this more often or use this for longer than prescribed. Your condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased.

DO NOT USE Xylocaine FOR LONGER than recommended. Xylocaine WILL CAUSE NUMBNESS wherever it is applied. Be careful not to injure treated areas by scratching, rubbing, or coming in contact with extreme cold or heat. KEEP Xylocaine out of the reach of children.
